Residents and visitors
to the Menard County can enjoy a deep
and rich hunting culture. Deer, Turkey,
Dove, Pheasant, Quail and small game are
the most common, but even Coyote and
Chukar hunts occur in the area as well.

The Deer Hunting Seasons
at JEPC are special. The well regulated
hunting seasons and the vast expanses of
the corn crops available to the local
population are resulting in trophy-sized
buck that attract hunters from all
across the country.
Turkey, Dove & Pheasant
are also very popular here. This is one
of the largest public access hunting
areas in the State of Illinois.
